Just got back and

Saw and read what has gone on. I have also been in contact with Chili and others. I was not aware that it was Chili who was the other member removed prior to going on holidays, and frankly I find it totally wrong. He is argumentative at worst and tells it as it is like I do and others who clash. I do not see how he breached the guidelines unlike others who not only get away with it but clearly slanderous posts are left on the forum.
I am also still waiting for a reply to phone calls and email to Blipman which I sent out lining some of these issues including the bias on this forum and the slack moderation which only encourage slander etc and now the over heavy handed approach of temporary deletion from the forum with the threat of worse. No wonder this forum is going backwards. This was days PRIOR to this WRONG. Time for more moderators for more balance as does every other forum or new forum.

Start your own forum.

UAS did once but too many people bagged UAS on their

own forum that they took it down. Pretty funny I thought.

do a huge amount for zeds and zedders and some people take every cheap opportunity to have a swipe at them.

Also, If mods are 'losing so much of there free time' this is a community. You can share the workload around. I for one would not have a problem in assisting in the moderation of the boards. I have moderated on many other forums, and if you spread the workload, than perhaps you might not be so busy.

Also, No disrespect to these forums, but dont you think it may be easier to use a more standard open source forum. PHPbb or invision board is a great choice, and is user friendly.

Im an IT Tech and have been involved with many forum disputes online before. Forums are ment to be a place for discussion, in agreement with whats being said or not.

Lets all remember why we are here. (For that thing on jacks in my front yard.)

I went and looked at the UAS forum last year, or the year before.
Maybe it's not nice, but there own site was full of folks bitching about them really bad!

Egg who is exaggerating now sounds like it was massive. There were a having fun and misunderstood me and fans of ours now. One runs the Skylines Australia forum. We are not perfect but when dealing with so many people many are young passionate then more chance of controversy. Not saying I am perfect. Actually there were a few kids on there including one young kid bitching about us not giving him the time of day about a gear knob as we were busy selling a GTR. This softy mentioned this on our forum and a few on the forum said "Go stick your gear knob" as he was carrying on a bit. A few months later this guy posts on Fast Fours forum that WE told him to SHUV his gear knob when he complained to us about bad service. It was someone on the forum NOT me or anyone who works for me, in fact no one knew who it was as no details had to be given. Another prob with some forums. On the Australian Soarer forum you even have to use your real name to prevent this crap.
In comparison Brett who owns MRT Rally has told me some horror stories of some dramas he has had on the forum on his website. One kid was carrying on and was put in his place on their forum and this kid got so wound up he went out and bought some number plates MRTSUX and stuck them on his WRX and drove around Sydney until he pranged his car. I think he ran into a some karma.
The forum we had was three or four years back now and very basic. No one had to register, just throw up anything, and well with no speed bumps in car parks there would be far more kids run over. Unfortunately there is always a minority who spoil it for the majority, and moderators are like speed bumps, if slanderous posts are not removed then members die rather than kids in car parks with no speed bumps.

Risk you have missed some I am sure, also there are far more in NSW think the same about Zisluv. This may be an argument for moderators in each state to get a balance. I think his posts should have been removed when slanderous or constantly argumentative and attacking. Zilsuv was warned re this but continued and posts should have been removed rather than him being thrown off the forum. I know many of Lloyds posts were removed in the past even though I don't think any were actually slanderous or in breach of forum guidelines. Argumentative but all true and not liked by some. I recetnly told Lloyd to go with the flow a bit. If someone says my car goes faster now I have a sub woofer in the boot say, "FANTASTIC " or nothing. If someone asks, "If I get a sub in my boot will my car go faster?" Don't say NO softy and why. "Softy" is not slanderous but calling someone a liar, closet homo, ex cop on the take etc is or for a business to call them dodgy, liars, drug takers, rip off etc is. To be followed up by I don't trust them, how can this be, they should check what advice they are giving as it can't be right etc normally would not be too much of a problem especially if it was half true but to be added to and constant is a prob. It seems slander and personal attacks and contaversy is OK and left up on forum? What image and format for a forum does this promote????

 

No I'm not.

There was plenty of complaints from customers who were really quite peeved with your service and prices.
And then it just got ugly so I left.
Less they were all the same fellow with like ten different usernames. Not much would surprise me.

 

This post has grown out of all proportion

it would be good if the moderators deleted the whole post as it is posts like this and the unnecessary replies from the "must have a say" members that is dragging this forum down to such an extent that very soon all the reasonable members will dissapear and all that will be left are the lunatics.
