actually upgrading to 740cc with gt28rs from what I understand idling with 740cc and power fc is not a problem
fuel economy shouldnt even come into it with a build like this :bash:,if it does, you cant afford to do it in the first place
well ther u go then, it must be the older management systems or 4 cyl motors mayeb that struggle to meter large injectors.
For a purely non endurance track car i can understand that position, but not for a road car if you can save money that you dont need to spend ... why not ? I think your getting your opinion confused with the situation of someone talking about fuel economy when choosing an expensive car. This is just taking pro's and cons and making better decisions, granted I dont think fuel saving will be huge, but I dont think power production will be bugger all better with 615's or 740's with a stable tune on GT600r turbos. What do you think ?
I better let the experts answer that,im still on L plates when it comes to building quick t/t's,hence the thread All 3 zeds we have are just toys,so i dont think much about economy or i wouldnt own 3 if you get my drift lol
So the question is: How much more power will you get out of GT600r turbos running bigger injectors then 555 ?
Stock fuel pump will be fine. Recommend 740's / 300 Degree Kit to give yourself a bit of headroom considering the 600r's can push 600whp and 555s are gonna be near max duty cycle in that region. Suggest MSP manifolds before April 14th for ~$650US. Also, what SMICs are you considering. There is a vast difference once you get into the sort of power levels you are looking at. Consider something with 2.5" outlets + 2.5" piping +TBs. Re: Nistune, it is great software for sure, but do you have someone locally who is good with it? Otherwise you may have to choose your tuning method based on what your tuner is experienced with. :zlove: It's not about making more power. It's about making safer power.
well the answer is that smaller injectors will reach max duty cycle before u reach teh working limit of the turbo's
Same thing Chris brought his 2860rs's round to check the gate opening psi, side by side they are physically identical! there are differences, 2560 will run out off puff before 2860rs or 71rs ect, but are capable off hitting 20psi with support at around 3.5-4 thou rpm, it all to do with the compressor setups. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/tech_center/gt_basics.html
I'm not sure, but there is noone in Australia running 11s on stock turbos either but doesn't mean it isn't possible or hasn't been done in the US.
They well may hit 600rwhp on these in the US as stated by Z1 as "nearly 600 rwhp", but US dynos seem to read high compared to Australian results, there was a good thread regarding this but i couldnt find it. If anyone has teh link please put it up. I rekon they will max out at 500 rwhp ish in Australia. This helps with the fuel requirment in a round about way.
With stock fuel pressure at 80% duty cycle I believe you are correct. But how many extra HP is available with bigger injectors with GT600r turbos ?
search. .... with big injectors u can push close to 400horse at the wheels on stock manual turbos.. big turbos setup 450 horse to 600 on pump fuel
i was about to put this up lol ..... waztted you did it again ...lol... good work p.s dont just look at the flow output . look at the volts it take to push that volume... this is why i went with the nismo ....
