Read about how the variable controller works here: http://www.snowperformance.net/proddetail.asp?prod=auto030 Total = $400 http://www.snowperformance.net/proddetail.asp?prod=auto060 The larger 220psi pump upgrade. ( larger pump will allow for more versitility in tuning and you get a larger flow range ) Total + $40 = $440 http://www.snowperformance.net/proddetail.asp?prod=auto050 The Dual nozzle upgrade with nozzle Total + $30= $470 http://www.snowperformance.net/proddetail.asp?prod=SI-10 MOST IMPORTANTLY (IMO) the safe injection module. (run it to a relay to shut off the boost controller on fault) Total + $100 = $570 reference links : One would set it up for the onset of water injection at 8psi and max pressure at 25psi (IMO) this will tell the pump (<8psi) 0 - 100%(>24psi) duty cycle. The 0-5v boost sensor output will be ideal for a data aquisition system (labjack on the ZEM). Here it is recommended the 625ml/min nozzle assuming 10 bar rating: http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=1712656 Actual rating is 4.1 bar (60psi). See (very good) manual (bottom of page 3) here: http://www.snowperformance.net/files/gas_installation.pdf">Snow Installation Manual</A> " - All nozzles are rated at 60psi pump pressure. Increasing pressure increases flow: 175ml/min nozzle @ 100psi=200ml/min @ 200psi=240ml/min 225ml/min nozzle @ 100psi=260ml/min @ 200psi=310ml/min 375ml/min nozzle @ 100psi=430ml/min @ 200psi=520ml/min 625ml/minnozzle @ 100psi=720ml/min @ 200psi=865ml/min " It would make sense for stock turbo/sport 500/gt28r guys to go with the 375s for 420-625BHP support that makes the only simple choice for the gt28rs/hks2530/TD06/big turbo guys to go with the 625s for 690-960 BHP support Cost per nozzle = $0 (2 Nozzles already in the kit) This group buy will last 2 weeks until 4/1/2006. NO MONEY COLLECTED / REQUIRED till 4/1/2006. I accept paypal or certified funds via priority mail. Send an email so that I can compose a list. I guestimate shipping in the 48 states to be around $20. I will get a more accurate quote from Snow performance and detail that in an update at a later date. I will provide updates as we get closer towards the end of the month. I can tell you guys from personal experience that water injection as a safety measure is a "no-brainer". If you live in the warmer states ( the south / California / New Mexico / Arizona ) or drag race a lot, this will give you that little buffer to be safe ( especially if you also have race gas). On the street, I have found in my car that you can run about 3psi more on the same tune without detonation (assuming the water injection kit doesn't fail). You can also choose to keep the same boost levels and just have a degree of xtra safety. YOU CHOOSE ! What is nice about this kit is that the boost controller will cut off if the relay trips and the max boost you will be your base boost setting for the turbos that you have. In the hot summer, you might want to run water injection often to help cool the intake air as much as possible when boosting. Water injection will have a "Cleaning Effect " on your motor also. You can choose to get the "boost juice" from Snow Performance which I think is a 50/50 methanol mixture or use windshield wiper fluid which is cheaper and has a 80/20 methanol mixture. There is tech support and instruction manuals on the snow website for installation help. http://www.snowperformance.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=425 The only things I need from everyone are 1) Funds 2) Nozzle selection ( you get two in the kit) 3) Shipping Address Stay tuned .... all prices are US dollars .. shipping is available to Australia -- send me an email with the address for an estimate .. I accept paypal for payment [ will be getting setup for credit card in the near future ]
