Hi all, just wondering whats the best way to put on and keep the "mesh" thats put in the front of the bumpers to keep on? I have read some say sikaflex, others silicon/ Opinions please. Also in the centre of the bumber behind the number plate, whats the best way to put it there? Cut out the straight piece or just fold it over the straight piece then "glue" it?
    Advice much appreciated.

You can use sikaflex or Silicone, or even Windscreen bonding rubber (goo).

Best to do this with the bar off the car as you need to work from the inside out!

Place your bar on a couple of trestles with the inside facing upwards.

Make sure the area where you are sticking it too is clean.

Simply cut your mesh bigger than the gap you are covering, and hold the mesh in place using weights. Or you can bend bits of wire and pass them through pulling on the mesh.

Squeeze the bonding solution through the mesh and onto the inside of the bar, leaving a sizeable amount of goo over the mesh. Clean up any mistakes before the goo sets

Leave the bar undisturbed for 24 to 48 hours for the goo to set.

Once dry, simply remove all weights or wires and the bar is ready to fit to the vehicle.

You could do this while the bar is on the car, but would be more fiddly to do, and getting the goo in the right place without a mess would be a challenge.

Ive used this method by fixing mesh onto a 2K spec bar. You dont need screws or fixings!

You could glue on cable tie bases and then cable tie the mesh on. That way it can be easily removed. :zlove:
