I am wanting to install my controller in place of the clock. Has anyone done this? Any ideas how to get it to fit nice and snug/OEM looking.

At the moment my method of approach will be to make an outline of the controller unit and mark on the plastic face plate the bits of plastic that need to be removed. Then slowly grind the excess away with a dremel. Then slot it in and perhaps glue it in place.
Anyone got any better ideas of pics of their install in the clock position?

    Cheers

The way you said should be fine. Here is a link that may help you. I know its for a double din install but should be roughly a similar procedure and materials incase you stuff up a little with dremel use the bog and paint followed in this guide

Goodluck, have you also aswell considered a different location or is that what you've decided on as you can put it in the din slot or glove box or even under the steering console, thats if you want to go for the whole hidden look.

Yeah just use a dremel to slowly grind the sides untill it fits. If you make it fit really tightly you wont need any glue or anything to hold it in place.
    This is my one.
