I have new Yokohama 255/45/17's on the back of my Z to go with the 235/45/17 Bridgestone adrenaline's up front, and had a full balance and Alignment done. There is nothing special about this story other than my Z is now handling very very well. Its making me very happy and I wanted to tell some people who won't look at me like I'v gone loopy.

    Cheers

Hahah I know what you mean. You get all excited about something on your Z and everyone you tell looks at you like you're on drugs and speaking another language!

255/45s on the back? Is your speedo reading right? I thought its meant to be 255/40.

I have 235/45s all around and my speedo is spot on..

    AndyMac Better than you

    255/45 is good in a 17" diameter. On an 18" rim you'd want 40's

    Incorrect......

The rolling circumference closest to oem in a 17" is 225 using a 45 profile & 255 using a 40 profile. Any other size/profile will make your speedo reading incorrect

This is a good point, I'll get it checked. What sort of innacuracy are we talking about percentage wise? Eg at an indicated 60 knph I'd be doing what?

    If you use a 255/45-17.....

It will increase your road speed by just under 5%
