QLD Gold Coast Cruise 20/5/2012

There's been a lot of interest by new and current members in having a cruise sometime soon. To get the ball rolling I think a tried route is best especially as its new to some people, others will have been on this cruise before.

Meet point: The old Gold Coast council city chambers on the side of the M1 at Nerang.

Time: 8:30/9am

Route: Numinbah Valley Gold Coast Hinterland.

Stops along the way: so far the newly renovated Gold Coast Hinze Dam, open to more suggestions but there will be small stops at other parks with toilets.

What should I bring?:

1) UHF radio if you have one as at least three of us already have them, this allows us to keep in contact the whole time and makes things a lot more fun.

2) A full tank of fuel, there's none a long the way.

3) Some light food.

4) Camera, should be a great time and many great pictures to be had and share on here after.

Lastly...

Remember these are fast cars but not all 300zx are the same and neither are the drivers, its not a race so know and keep within your own Z's safety zone. It's not gonna be a fun day if someone slides off the road I'm sure we'll all be responsible tho.

It's for the best that every now and then we pull over at a park a long the way and let anyone who's behind catch up and make sure they're still with us. Photos and food.

 

Cool should be good and I've just booked my Z into have the transmission looked at.

Shame there's 2 guys.. Kieren and Matt, who sold up... or sold out so to speak and Fate who just doesn't like "Pearl" his z anymore. Oh and Baz, he just doesn't show up anymore either.
