:zlove::zlove:Got to love em. A small group of Zedders, a beautiful sunny day and what a fantastic drive. We took a trundle down some of the awesome roads used by the East Coast Targa rally, even the road where the lads came off in the Porsche at 200kms/hr last year:wacko:.No wonder they came off I think we went through there at about 100ks and that was enough fun. Not much road there just one car width wide:sick:. Thanks to those who joined me and Mary for the day, a great way to end a year of Zedding. MikeB, I hope you enjoyed your cushy stay at the Hydro Majestic Hotel, I didnt want to tell you prior but its supposed to be haunted:LOL:. Na its a great place. I think Pete (OZ300) got the pics for the day I was too busy driving,looking at the scenery and watching out for rogue tractors . MattB
Great Roads Matt !!!! :thumbsup: I had a great time leaving home at 6 a.m. to get to Panthers about 9. Everything went fine other than the little seatbelt not retracting episode at Old Bowenfels, where we had an impromptu mini-tech day pulling the drivers side door trim apart to find one of the little plastic wheels in the retracting mechanism disintegrating and jamming the works. Those bits removed, the belt now retracts and locks (as in simulating an accident) but makes a ratchet-like noise when belt is lengthened/retracted. Looks like I'll be cruising the For Sale threads. I left the group at Bathurst and drove bake to Canberra via Cowra / Binalong and Yass. Would you believe i picked up a hitchhiker just outside Blayney. It was a woman who was going to see family at Cowra. Can you imagine a waoman hitchhiking in this day and age? :wacko: She was an ex Z31 owner. I got home about 6 pm having done >700 kms for the day. I enjoyed the driving so much that I didn't take any pics really - only 1 or 2 to show for it - sorry. I hope someone else took some. Here's the couple I took. Cheers, Peter
