Please see the pics of our complete stock replacement steering wheel (series I), this one has much thicker grip, approx 5 inch thick, stock is approx 4 inches but has the same diameter as the stock wheel. Wheels with the stock thickness will also be available in next 2 to 3 weeks......

All you need to do is to transfer the front facing cover/mounting bracket and other plastic covers from your old wheel to the new one and you are back in the business!! No downtime required, no core needed!!

It feels so good and makes the Z more fun to drive, I personally think that the wheels of our cars are skinny and need to be padded to make them look more sportier and stylish.

Agreed, it also looks much better with the badge and inset "300zx" or "fairlady z" writing.
