Is there a difference between the 2+2 and straight 2 gearboxes? or is the difference in the tail shaft? ie, to convert to manual in a 2+2 will any gearbox fit from a zed or does it need a 2+2 gearbox. Thanks Much appreciated.

Gearboxes are the same between 2+0's and 2+2's. Talishafts are different between 2+2NA Man, 2+0NA man, 2+2AN auto, 2+0NA auto, 2+2TT man, 2+2TT auto etc, etc. TT and NA boxes are slightly different, but can be used with some modification.
