Just a quick question for those that have changed their gearbox mounts. I have a knocking type of vibration that seems to be coming from around the gearbox. More noticable at idle revs, especially when cold, and occurs regardless of gear, and even in neutral. When in neutral, it seems to go away when I increase revs. Am I looking at a worn gearbox mount? Thoughts anyone? Cheers Shihong
it certainly sounds like it.Have you got under to have a look ????????? lever it up and down with a bar and see if you have play,also check to see the condition of the rubber,oil over the years can make it go mushy
