Hi all, With all the repairs Ive had to do to my Zed, Ive found it difficult and expensive to find individual Gaskets when Ive needed them. I have approached a couple of Gasket makers who dont like doing low volume Gaskets. So Ive just bought a CNC Router from O/S and am going to Make Gaskets Myself. I have access to Materials used in Mining Trucks with very high Temp and pressure tolerances. I will also be able to do one off Gaskets for Custom Modified Engines. I expect the Machine to arrive early November. Is anybody interested in me making these Gaskets in volume?

i'd say provide some OEM spec gaskets and performance gasket too. if your price is and quality is competitive and you can prove so on a built engine, then im sure the zed shops around the country will keep you busy.

build a zed, run your gaskets in it and let our work do the talking for you. good luck mate

There aren't a whole lot of gaskets in a Zed. There is really only the IACV and AAC gaskets, the rest are not a typical gasket (metal or paper with rubber ring) and I wouldn't chance a non-OEM head gasket.

When I built my Engine 18 months ago, I hand made the Throttle Body Gaskets from Kevlar/composite Material and I had cut exhaust Manifold and Turbo Gaskets from a Graphite material with a Stainless Shim inside Both with max temp over 800 degrees. They have Worked well so far. I work at a company that makes Mining Truck Gaskets but they are not interested in Cars. Hence why I decided to buy the Machine.I have access to everything from Gasketpaper to composite Materials they use on the Spaceshuttle!! I wont be able to do normal Head or Valve cover gaskets anyway. Copper ones would be doable however.
