New gt28 frame turbos are a perfect size for the Z32 they come in 550hp and 660hp t25 V band internal wastegate .49ar and reverse rotation, so the passenger side will mach the drivers side. Obviously a t25 flange will need to be welded on or v band to manifolds, 3.5" dump pipes over 1000hp from t28s.

    PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:
    • Compressor Wheel Inducer: 54mm
    • Compressor Wheel Exducer: 67mm
    • Compressor Wheel Trim: 65
    • Compressor Housing Inlet: 3 Inch Diameter
    • Compressor Housing Outlet: 2 Inch Diameter
    • Compressor Housing A/R: .70
    • Turbine Wheel Inducer: 54mm

Stainless exhaust housings! Pretty! No pictures on the website of the internally gated versions though :(

Yeah I tried to find one also would be nice to see how the internal gate sits with the v band outlet, stainless would make it easier to weld a flange on?

I wouldn’t bother keeping the internal gate set up with these as to take advantage of them you need to be pushing into a area internal gates are basically no good for, physical dimensions on these are actually very compatible to GTX3071 gen2 when looking Vband to Vband

When I asked GCG a week ago on updates towards a T25 housing they said internal gate wasn’t available yet?

Are yours from a modifier company? As that housing you listed on comp side sounds comped down .

specs came from here, looking at the list price yeah not available yet. Will keep an eye on availability and add info here and if you could do the same, very interesting turbo.

    Jesus $9999 on ATP

    I hope that’s a default listing haha.

ATP “modify” turbos so it’s likely a housing fitted to the comp wheel.

The true comp and turbine housings are massive

Turbos Direct is down the street from me (Phoenix, AZ, USA), they are one of the largest authorized Garrett distributors in North America. They told me that there is no release date for the IWG versions of the new G-Series turbos. I have seen the 3D printed plastic version on videos. It is my understanding that they are a long ways out from being released still. The turbos are available with the EWG though. They are very small compared to 35/30/28 sized turbos. I'm interested to try them, but my budget does not allow it & I have a pair of IRL Borg Warner EFR6758 turbo that I need to make a kit for still & my old EFR 6258 kit that is not currently installed.

this guy got one early a 550, some tech info from 6:06

you can check his channel for dyno results, as is not a VG I wont link it but it makes more power over a gtx2860 gen 11

Looks like you could call them g2860 = 550hp and g2863 = 660hp. What power they will make in the t25 .49 remains to be seem, but a guess would be better spool and more power over the 2860 and 2863 which just happens to be the most common upgrade turbo for the VG, with reverse rotation aimed at V layout engines starting to look like it was made for us, no more retro fitting sr20 turbos. Only took 30 years, now just need to know price and availability.

Let us know if you get a release date or see them on the shelf.
    cheers

I wonder if the speed sensor slot would be a good place for water meth injection, may even speed up the compressor spraying directly onto the blades

    Speed up the compressor?

I was initially going to do pre compressor wmi but decided against it after a little further research

watch the first video I post at 1:47 the speed sensor port inlet opens on the compressor wheel, what effect introducing an outside pressure to this area will be, increase spool, reduce spool, no effect at all. As its never been done before the its all theory. I have never owned a turbo with a handy side port, and have no need for a speed sensor but it could be an ideal place to mount a WMI injector.
I have a old Performance import magazine with a blue Z32 that runs WMI and no intercoolers looks like it runs very well.
What pitfall did you find with WMI?
