    Hi guys,

Just posting this up FYI for everyone. I just ordered a kit myself.

I first noticed these on Gumtree for $299, but then noticed on their website and SAU that they had these on sale at $165!
Sounds like a few guys on SAU have installed them and very happy with the quality.

These are direct bolt on for the Z32 also and retain the stock hand brake.

Mods feel free to move this elsewhere if appropriate :)

Edit: These are perfect for restoring close to stock brake bias for anyone with a front upgrade. For example, the GTR Brembo front upgrade moves brake bias 19% forward, adding these will move bias back to only 5% forward.

What happens if you went full brembos all round ;p
    Lol

And that's a large rear rotor it's actually bigger than GTR brembo fronts

Yeah won't work with Brembo rear calipers apparently.

Yes it is, but rotor diameter is only part of the calculation on braking force and brake bias. This rear upgrade will increase braking force approx. 13%.

The GTR Brembo front upgrade increase braking force on the front approx. 19%.

So running this on the rear will balance up the brake bias again while maintaining the benefit of increased braking force and better cooling at both ends of the car.

Note if the website won't let you order the kit on it's own, give them a call, ask for Domenic.

I would suggest you buy two sets......

while they're on special because that rotor is an oddball size and who knows if you'll be able to buy them again in the future

I had a look through SAU forum and I couldn't find anyone who has reviewed them (other than they were a 'bolt on fit')

Good price indeed. Since they using a bracket/adapter to make the bigger rotors work on the stock calipers, is it something that would need to be "engineered" or is the modification legal? Just curious, as I'm sure everybody here has way too many "illegal" mods to mention lol

The shop is very very close to my place, so i might go past tommorow on my way back home & check it out & see what they say. I'm also curious about the quality of their rotors, & would it be possible to just buy the adapters without the rotors.

I wonder if different pads are needed like you would when doing this mod on the front?

No you would not need different pads, you're using the same caliper.

I had thought about buying two sets, but the rears wear a lot slower than the fronts. They do have the replacement rotors available, but normal price is probably more than the sale price for the kit. By the time these wear out I'll have likely upgraded the rears to a 4 piston caliper.

No idea if these are legal. My car will never be registered, so don't care :p

Same calipers are used for the front. There's a thread on the topic. Let us know when you buy it :)

Very interesting site. Prices look good on the items.

Just a little worried about the quality of the product. Would hate to get it out onto the track and find the rear discs warp after a lap or 2.

I'd be keen pending the quality of the rotor, this is essentially much the same as those front upgrade kits with the standard calipers.
I guess then not all of the rotor would actually be in contact with the pad.
