Hey Rosco I have a tube of Selly's kneadit in the shed, I can bring to tech day if you like . We can all learn together and then sit around and sing Koombiah by the burning zed Just joking I do have kneadit tho if you want me to bring
Not sure if kneadit is fuel proof, make sure it is before you use it. I used form a gasket as it says specifically that its ok for use where it will be in contact with fuel or fuel vapors.
EDIT: depends if it is "Auto" or "Multipurpose". http://www.selleys.com.au/Selleys-Autofix-Knead-it/default.aspx
haha will make a nice arroma for auto salon !!! perhaps u could be sponsored by a company that makes fire extinguishers
Hey again It say's on the pack that it can be used on Petrol tanks for repair . So should be fine :zlove:.
I also have a leak around the fuel cap. The insert is loose, but I can't get it out, I have tried a slide hammer. How did you get get you restrictor/insert out? Noel 92TT2+2
Yeah kneadit is some good shit. Used it for a sump repair on a kombi many years ago when I hit a rock on a dirt road. Such a good fix I forgot I'd done it and sold the van 2 years later with it still in place. So it's definately oil proof!
