    Hey guys,

I cant seem to catch a break but im guessing this will hopefully be the last problem with the little beast. All the other other issues that have arisen previously have been solved (they were caused due to a heavy lack of maintainence) in short so far i have had the PTU replaced, big service done on her, some vacuum line and sensors, exhaust fixed and some other stuff.

The final issue that it seems to have given itself, is that when you try to cold start it floods the engine with too much petrol and it wont spark... obviously. Does anyone know what might cause something like that?

When i clutch start it, she runs better then ive seen before, just cant seem to fire up on the key.

    Thanks all,
    Matt G :D

Maybe you need a battery with a higher cranking amp capacity.
Sounds like there is not enough power to crank the engine and create a spark??

Might also just be a battery terminal problem (may need a clean).

Maybe next cold morning, try assisting the battery by using some jumper leads of a 2nd car (or battery) if available. If the extra battery capacity helps, then you know where to look at least. If not, then at least that is eliminated.
