NSW FS: Suitcase of parts from Japan II

Hello everyone!!!

Home sweet home, back on the farm after 4 crazy months at work teaching in Japan. The following items that i brought along are still available:


Clocks X 4 $25ea
Center surrounds X3: Perfect $70 (manual sticker is peeling a little), 1 with an attachment point missing $60(pink arrow), Silver $70 + i have the top clips and front strips (one strip has a missing metal clip).

Passenger side instrument pod (the plastic backing part) $50
Manual AC pod switch face $80
Auto AC pod (small scratches on one button) $50
MT RHS pod face (same as auto except the cruise button is a blank) $50

Sticker set (NISSAN fairlady) $35

Fog lights X7 , $150 set (or less)

Targa shades X2 sets $65/pair
Targa bags X2 sets $120/pair ono

Side indicators (stock JDM clear with orange bulb) $60/pair

Complete lock set with 300ZX key $100 (one lock barrel is with a different key...)

Aerials!!! X2 $75 ea

All parts were bought from Japanese wreckers and described as "tested and working". I am not able to provide a guarantee as they are all 2nd hand items and returns are rather difficult.
Anyone in the area is welcome to drive here (Kyogle) and i will help with installation free of charge.

I still have quite a bit of stuff from past trips left and the 97 wreck leftovers which i will try to photograph and post an updated list for in the next few days.

Clear indicators are FRONT!!!! the one side set already went to a pre order.
sorry... I will try to find some more side ones when i get back over in 5 weeks. I just had a look on yahoo auctions japan and they are around the $60 mark but not very many up for sale and a lot of aftermarket types there (which tend to go yellow after a year or 2). aftermarket new - ( http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m74642258 )

Must have been fun coming back through customs with a bag load of spare parts! Where's the best place in Japan for wreckers, last time I was in Tokyo I had trouble finding quality wreckers! Could you divulge your secret Jap wrecker hot spots, I'm thinking of doing a snowboarding trip there in the coming Japanese Winter...

*edit* to answer thebigshow's post - Yes customs did raise an eyebrow at me looking at the xray of my suitcase but it is all legal so no problems. There are wreckers all over the place but the biggest selection is Yahoo auctions Japan, you can get almost every and any part there and if you have the time, at good prices. i usually spend 30 mins to an hour on there almost daily looking for bargains. Google translate works quite well if the japanese is a problem.

 

are they late model fog lights?

 

I was not aware of any difference in fog lights?

From memory 2 pairs were from 97 and 1 98, others i dont remember... I cant see any differences in the ones i have. If there was a different type on the 2k model then assume these are the old style. I will upload a close up when i get back to my home PC. I tried to pick parts from newer models to avoid cracking and perished plastics.

Look at my sig, see the corner lights that came with my 2k front bar? See how the fog lights are white compared to them? That's because they are older style, the original ones from my old front clip...

hmm i thought yours are the ADM plastic lens ones in the fog light slot with aftermarket front/side indicators?

heres a pic of the type i have, JDM Glass front lens. pics easier than words.

 

what makes them 150 as apposed to 60 for the indicators? just out of curiosity.

 

The indicators are lightweight, plastic (does not break easily) and also dont have the annoying habit of falling apart with age. Cost to buy the front/side indicators is also around $30-40 in japan and commonly available compared to about $100 for a good set of fog lights.
