front bar opinions please

hey guys, ok so ive got my pearl yellow z32 vert and its time for a new front bar, currently is stock. money no object really, if i like it ill buy it....

i am looking for a nice subtle ish bar, that doesnt lower the sides of the car too much as i would prefer no side skirts on this car......

have considered 2000 spec, but every bastard has one now lol....

i have a genuine abflug front bar, needs repairs but usable, same as sim300's without the holes below nose panel/identicle to chilis's bar, quite rare.....i like it but not sure if i "love it"

any other opinions, options....first person to say veilside gets slapped....

not really, wings west ? .. although then without side skirts it looks dicky cause of the kicks at the bottom sides of the front bar... hmm... a greddy always comes up nicely/bomex.

 

I'd just go with the 2000 spec, to be honest. Just because there's a lot of them running around it doesn't mean that you shouldn't. They still look awesome

 

i thought greddy as well for a while, but it is again very common.....i suppose im looking for something "different"....not even fused if it needs to imported from japn or america, so long as it looks the part.....

 

IMO,..It's Over !....TwinZPeru Front bar,...It will be released for production soon.

 

For practicality I'd stick with stock or 2k.

2k looks f*cking great and it has an indent in the front most lip which gives it a tiny bit more space to maneuver on inclines than say a greddy bar which is completely flat at the bottom.

If you stick with stock you can go for a front splitter or apron (like BigCol's 25th anniversary bar). Front splitters make anything look tough .

Personally I'd only ever have either of these 2 bars on the zed.

 

I'm in the same spot as you Ross. In the end I've done nothing.

actually, i dont mind the veilside ec1 front bumper, which is not the same as the extra common and extra ugly c1 or c2 for the record

its nearly impossible to find somewhere that sells it though, and i havent seen enough photos to make me want one.......

 

I've always loved the Ab Flug type 2 bar as per Kabir's zed. They're pretty rare and "different" but still look great. Mind you I'm pretty happy with my 2k spec.

agreed, great bar, but not the right look for the vert i think, plus ed300zx has one on his vert and well, dont want to steal his thunder lol....

2K gets my vote if the rest of the car is going to be reasonably stock-ish.

 

Import the full kit; you'll end up profiting after you sell the rear wing for 6 times as much as the full kit cost.

this would also be pretty sweet. Otherwise 2k spec, but you don't seem to like it
