    Hey hey guys,

Having a little problem with the beast. Just had a lot of things fixed on it and when it is running, she is a dream, it is just getting it started that is the problem.

Doesn't seem to wanna cold start, when ever i go to start her up with the key, it seems to flood the engine with petrol, however it only take very little effort to get it going by 'clutch starting.' After a while of running and being warm, she can be turned off and start start fine with the key but as soon as it cools down (say being left over night) it goes back to having to be clutch started to get going.

Obviously, the problem is influenced by temperature, could it be that the injectors or seals are bugga'd or could it be something else?

    Any suggestion would help :)

    Have

a look at your spark plugs mate, there's no need to use the throttle at all to start the engine, but you know that right!

tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

If you try to cramnk it, give up and clutch it, does plenty of black smoke with a fuelly smell come with it??
Is this drama worse after longer time sitting around?

If so, you may have a set of leaky injectors.

I have this drama with the wifes Pooser turbo ET. Its been bad enough to have to disconnect the efi pump, remove the plugs and crank on wide open throttle to get around if the engine is left off for longer than about 4 o 5 days.

Another tack is to look at you cold battery cranking voltage.
The battery might perform just fine on a warm motor but not be supplying enough juice to fire the ignition when dead cold.
Easy to check. Multimeter is your friend.
