    Hi all,

Looking at purchasing a fujitsubo exhaust but seems like only 2+2 ones are being made still...

Wondering if its possible to get it to fit a 2+0 TT and if so, what sort of work required?

Found an old thread asking this question but no definitive answer.

Most detailed picture I've found on the 2+2 Fujitsubo system is on sandeep's sale thread: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=287160

Dude just get the mufflers/resonators/cats and get a shop to put them together.
    Cheaper, better, custom!

You mean chop up the 2+2 Fujitsubo exhaust and take the muffler/resonator to exhaust shop and get it piped up?

Wonder if there's any differences in size with the 2+2 mufflers, resonator etc that could cause fitment issues in a 2+0?

Are you talking about a complete exhaust or a catback?
The difference between a 2+2 & a 2.0 seater will be in the length of the pipes between the catalytic converters & the rear mufflers.
These pipes could be modified to suit a 2.0 seater.

Looking at a catback of a 2+2 Fujitsubo system. Is it as simple as cutting the pipes shorter?

The link in my first post shows the catback system and there isn't really a straight length of pipe anywhere, all seem to be at an angle designed for 2+2 so my worry is with clearance and fitment into a 2+0.

The question needs to be asked.
Why do you want this particular system?
It would be easier to get a system designed for a 2.0 seater.

It's perfectly achievable by your average exhaust guy, it's not just shorter though, needs some clocking and possibly a little work to tuck it up higher.

Love the stuff Fujitsubo makes - had it on my MR2 before coming to the Z and it sounded amazing. Currently have the Greddy TRUST system on my Z and while it does sound mean and all, the loudness and drone is starting to get on my nerves.

If anyone has heard a fujitsubo, they aim to be quiet. Very stock-like on startup, idle, low rpms, etc. But once you go WOT on them, it transforms. I love that about them - perfect for driving IMO as I would only want loud exhaust when I'm actually driving the car hard. Something quiet and bearable for when I'm in traffic or going at 40k's in the city...

If anyone knows another exhaust brand or muffler/resonator combo that can achieve this, please tell me? AFAIK only fujitsubo has been able to do exactly this (mate of mine has a fujitsubo on his FN2R and has exact same characteristics as the one I had on my MR2).

So general consensus is the fujitsubo muffler should fit?

With modification, expect a couple hundred dollars, especially if you want a good job. Might be easier to get between the crossover/resonator and rear mufflers cut out and just have a new section made there if you want it properly tidy. Member Madcow had a system cut down a couple months ago but I can't remember the specifics.
