Anyone wanna buy this bloody car or shall I just burn the C&*T of a thing. God I have got the shits. Lacerated the crap out of my arm just trying to get the mast and motor out of the car. When the mast cracked the plastic near the motor I lost it. Seriously this car had the better of me today. Franz I am hearing you mate. The heater core is getting fixed by some other bastard. Anyway the mast and motor assembly met abruptly with a limestone block as I lost my temper. You wouldnt believe it but I now get better reception on my alpine stereo than I did before. Now just need something to block the hole where the antenna used to come through. I stuffed some shit in there for now until I build up another years worth of patience to attempt this. Hopefully it gets stolen joy ridden and burnt to the ground before that.
PEACE!!!

Ease up turbo

The zed needs a clam and patient person to work on it :) , lucky for me it takes a rather long while before I start swearing and bashing stuff.

I understand your frustration...>>

with working on a zed. It's a very complex beast and almost everything has been designed not to be touched. IB once advised me that the Japs designed and built the zed in revenge for loosing the WW2 and I often think he was right. Many times I would have loved to have my hand around the throat of just one of the engine bay design team. Anyway, I find it helps alot if you get a friend to help when tackling something new.

Anyway, I am now teaching many new owners around Canberra about servicing their zeds and we are averaging about one timing belt a month plus oil changes, tune-ups, PTU repairs, cleaning throttle bodies, ASCD mods, replace centre bearing etc. I have a busy garage and well stock fridge so there are always friends I can call on :D
Cheers :-Z

LOL @ WWII revenge.

Going to give my wife a medal though for putting up with me and convincing me to keep the car and not buy a magna/hyundai/commonwhore. Sometimes you look back and think "God what an idiot". :-Z
