So who actually watched F1 today? I personally found F1 a bore and watched the Magnificent Seven instead . How about other Australian viewers?
What are you on about, I thought it was one of the better oz gp's! I mean the massa battle during the first stint was great. Watching heikki make mistake after mistake was highly amusing (only coz I know franz was hoping he would do well) and watching ferrari dominate was awesome. Pity about webber, and coulthard proved once and for all that he should have retired years ago when he dived desperately at wurz. Hamilton's gotta be the most promising talent in years and lets hope he doesn't fizzle like a young villeneuve did so long ago. Personally i hope he absolutely rapes alonso this year....and I think ron will let him.
I hate that Ferrari driver who won, he's such a miserable prick. I was rooting for McLaren, they won in points right?
RedTT I saw the Mag 7 on and was tempted. But you can tape that and watch it anytime. Turned over to the GP and was suprised how early the race finished. Massa chasing was great viewing. You hardly got to see any of the other runners. Live events like this I think you have to watch live. But watching TV on a nice Sunday afternoon? It sorts of leaves you feeling a bit hungover afterwards. A bit like having a mid afternoon n*ughty? Now there's an idea. And may do it in the Zed and then it can be Zed related
Mag 7 F1 bored me... Mag 7 won my vote for the day, with an occasional flick to the footy. The footy was alright... but definitely Mag 7 Love the old Westerns! hehehe
So many haters! haha. None of my friends like watching f1 and they drive me crazy when they say "its just cars going around in circles". Its not just about watching a race, but its about analysing what is going on with people strategy's, fuel loads, tyre wear, lap consistencies, braking performance etc etc. Okay now admitted some races can become a bit boring as the strategies play out early and no big problems come up in the race, but I thought the ozgp had everything you could want, and there was more overtaking than the average race...so I don't get why there is so much hating going on!
personally i watched from corner 15 Good way to start the season seeing and hearing the cars up close.
F1 wins every time - unless its up against Le Mans (the real thing, not the movie) or FIA GT3. We coulda had FIA GT3 as a support race except for Bernie sticking his nose in. I was lucky enough to be a guest in the chicane skybox on Saturday, GA on Sunday ... pics to come.
F1 of course. Bit hard to watch anything else when your sitting at turn 1. ZXxx, I know exactly how you feel. Most of my friends don't like it either. But I watch every race.
