Hey guys, just wondering if anyone who is running or familiar with F1 clutches could give me a hand? Need to replace my clutch and am looking for a full face disck, as I daily drive my Zed, through approx 2 hours of start stop traffic every day Not too sure whether to get a stage 1 or stage 2 clutch, as on the axidworks website (link below) the stage 1 clutch kit says "This is not to be used with vehicles running forced induction or nitrous oxide systems." seeing as i have a TT, does that mean it is unsuitable? A little bit confused seeing as the product name has "VG30DETT" as an option for the stage 1....if anyone could give me a hand would be hugely appreciated! - http://axidworks.com/Clutches and F...Stage/300ZX Turbo VG30DETT 90 96 Full Organic -
Well found, lol. You would have to assume that sentence is not ment to be there. Might pay to email them just to be sure. Fyi I use a stage 4 in traffic and find it usable compared to a twin setup I used to run.
Yeah cheers man, only reason I would prefer a full face organic is because I've read/heard a fair bit about the clutch face becoming "glazed" when using higher rated clutches in stop start traffic. Will shoot them an email to clarify about the "forced induction" statement (Don't really need the higher stage clutch seeing as I'm only pulling ~230 kw) :br:
They have non turbo and tt kits available. I use a stage 4 (have done for about 4 years) and Cara uses a stage 2. Stage 2 is very streetable on a mild TT with about 16-17spi on stock turbos.
