Comments: I have taken the slicktop over the pits this morning and have an easy short list of stuff that is required for rego, however my next project arrives this week, I have another house to renovate and I'm hoping to head away for a while in 3 weeks and I've just had some surgery which is slowing me down a fair bit.
I'm also running out of room

So the opportunity exists for someone to pick up a cheap slicktop, go through the list and take it over the pits instead of me doing it, otherwise I'll just do it myself and sell it for more with rego

List of things required for rego
the things in bold I will probably fix before selling anyway

windscreen washer to operate (possibly just top up with water, need to check)
exhaust hanger to be slipped into the rubber part (requires about 20mins to remove the exhaust and slip it back in properly)

number plate lights to work (bulb, fuse?)
    horn to work
stop door light staying on (fix door switches)
drivers belt to retract correctly (can supply a working one from my wreck)
right seats padding replaced (has usual bolster wear, I have a spare leather seat I can throw in)
    pulls right (alignment)
    install a split pin
front tyres have wrong load rating (use other wheels to get over pits?)

    Mods
king springs all round (lowered but still legal)
    A'Pexi exhaust (sounds awesome!)
    stainless hardpipes
    dark interior
BRAND NEW 18" rims + tyres (new rear tyres, fronts are 90%)

I'll get more pics up asap but heres one for now, can also throw in clear indicators etc.

no prob dude, I'm hoping by putting it up for $5k I get a quick sale but if it hangs around i may get it licenced and sell the beemer instead driving it today was so much fun and it sounded AWESOME, i was heel toe down changing just to hear the burbling and popping :D something you miss out on with a TT

It also has new energy bushes for the front castor rods

Don't sell the Z. Sell the beemer. 2 zed is always better than one.:D

haha Kabir, If I keep i'll have 4 Z's at mine, people might start to think i have a problem. It's not as practical as the beemer unfortunately

    Cheers Kev

    veilside, same with the skirts

I've got some stockies now with really good tread so I'll probably fix up all the little things on the list and take it over the pits next week. chance to pick it up really cheap coming to a close

    Wanna zed!

Anton, I have been given permission by the home bank to look for a zed. I've had lots cars but no zed yet. I have to wait till June/July for funding though. Your slicktop looks like a decent car for good price. Also could members perhaps point to some issues to check when buying a zed? Other than the usual checks one makes with all cars. Appreciate any help

no worries mate, I had a call about it today but you never know it could still be here when your looking, and most probably licenced. (bear in mind if I do get round to licencing it it will be more expensive

If you do a search you will find you question has been asked 100's of times, there is probably also an article on buying a Z32 in the tech section :)

now has clear front and side indicators, leather seats with unmarked bolsters, and everything on the list has been done except swap the rims over to stockies (which I have) and do the wheel alignment. I have also shaven the rear wiper and will be respraying the hatch
