so i think its about to replace my stock exhaust on my 90 NA 2+2 probaly get a custom one just wondering which is better x or h pipe resonated or non resonated but i dont wanna attract to much attention and 2.5 inch would be best right?
Yep 2.5 is more then enough for an NA, you will want a resonated centre muffler as this helps kill drone and will probably quiet it down slightly overall.. Xpipe will flow better then a Hpipe but might be a little more expensive. Check out the centre mufflers UAS sells...
You pay for quality. I bought an magnaflow xpipe in the last group buy which is pretty similar, paid 200ish from memory. Drone gets very old very fast.
ZXDEVIL did that magnaflow xpipe cut out alot of the drone and this UAS center muffler will also?? As i have very bad drone on my NA Cheers Longy
I have a twin 3" system on my NA. Extractors into 3". Twin cats, 2 x resonators amidships and 2 x Lukey sports mufflers at the back. It has an H-pipe just behind the diff. No drone at all. Quiet and businesslike at anything around town! Barks just a bit when opened right up. Very cool sounding system. L8r E
Did you get a power loss when you put it on? The only guy I know that put a 3" on his N/A only put on the catback and said he got a slight low end loss.
Sorry for Hijack, but... How long is a 2+2 exhaust complete - up to the dumps/headers? I need to collect one soon and need to know what length trailer I need to get.
