For future reference for people wanting to modify exhaust on an NA zed. I bought two cannons (straight through style), with removable silencers from the US for about $250 australian, they are a 2 1/2" inlet with 4 inch dump titanium tip. (Check out my website for pics - will put them up tomorrow) So, the stock exhaust system is engine pipes into twin cats into a centre muffler and then two pipes out of this centre muffler into a resonator on each side. What I have done is replace the two rear resonators with a cannon each side. Looks pretty cool, twin dumps cost me $120 at profix, so all up approx $350 - $400. I got them to install the cannons with the silencers out, and even with the centre muffler, it is loud!! very loud!! :LOL: I love it, the noise is absolutely fantastic, best mod I've done so far by heaps!! If i do get pulled over for too loud exhaust, Im thinking just get them to measure the decibels, and then get them to measure it with silencers as well. That way hopefully, it will get me under the 91decibel limit. Anyway, this is what ive done and it sounds great!! and drone is not too bad either. :zlove::zlove:
