i was just watching channel 10's late night news..... and they had a very interesting news segment....apparently there has been 15 Hyundai Excel's vandalised in South Australia...... the profile of the suspects is - they were size 10 shoes (they have been stomping on the bonnets and roofs) and they drive a lancer with clear tail lights!!dont get me wrong..... i have no problem if people want to go around smashing Excels - as we all know there the cancer of the motoring public - but who are lancer drivers to do it? they aint much better!!There must be sweet F all to do in South Australia ::Risk::
HAHAH yeah, sick of little excel's and there no power fart cannons, I beat my friend in an excel, and I was driving my mums fairlane
Excels are okay Not everyone can afford a Z and i think Korean cars are great value for money although the styling can be a little crook imo.
My young blokes got one and >> damn thing goes like a cut snake. It's '98 model wih basic mods, extractors, exhaust and airfilter, decent struts all round.... makes V6 commodores look sick... steers pretty good for what it is too. Even beat a 351 GT (XB) at the drag strip, If I remember correctly the excel posted a time of 15.8 secs (best) and (16.2 worst).... not bad I say for $11k rice burner.
econo box im forced to drive my wifes excel 90km to work every day because i dont want to wear out my Zed. makes the Zed feel extra fast when i get to drive it on the weekend though
YEP!! Learnt how to drive in one (driving school car) the are okay to drive, easy clutch work, gearing ratios are well suited. but dosent stop it from being ugly, or pesky when stuck in a front facia
 If theres one thing in WA and crappy riced up cars, the excel takes the cake, i hate them, im sorry...
If a GT with a 351 ran over 15 sec, it must be F&%KED. Excels shit me and so do lancers All noise and no action. No need to jump on them though!
my mate and I used to use his excel to see how much air we could get by launching his excel off speed humps, rally drivers heaven :LOL:
XL's and Runsirs.. I dunno but there's been plenty of times I'd stick a size 10 in that farging foglight in the back of an XL... I thought they were the 'New Volvo' till Runsir's came along sheesh they must be almost giving them away down at Mitsubishi, how many have you seen lately with wheels, wings and habighexorzt...
O.M.G. Andrew, love the sig mate! How long have you had that? Excellent photography there, it really brings out the magic of a 12DD. Phwoa! Ryan.
