Hey guys, As its close to Novemberish i thought id put forward my idea for my 4th Western Coastal cruise. Instead of my previous night cruises, i was thinking of having a day cruise and end at the Point Cook RAAF Museum and tour the museum. The museum is free and there might be a BQQ at the base we could use for lunch. Start point would be the West Gate Bridge Shell Station Outboud side and we would cruise from there to Weeribee South and turn off the freeway and head towards the RAAF base. There is no charge to enter the Base or the museum but Photo ID is required (Drivers License). Additional cruising spots can be added to the day if need be. As for date i would prefer a Sunday as i dont work sundays but a Saturday is fine with me as well. So what do you guys think and whos in???
I'd be interested in this. I can't commit to any specific dates at this stage, but it doesn't matter whether it is a sat or sunday.
Nah it's more family & work commitments preventing me from being able to give you a date I'm free, not the fact that I don't like the dates. Even if I did give a date, the way my work is at the moment means that I couldn't be certain of turning up even on the morning of the event. So I'll attend if possible, but don't plan the date around me.
Not here in november... so after november would be better for me, but obviously I'm only one person, so go with the masses. Cheers
Sweet guys, i think i have enough interests now to start planning the cruise. I will contact the RAAF through my dads contact and organise our group to enter the base. We still have a month before anything really gets going on this cruise. ill start a new thread in a couple of weeks when i have more exact details on the cruise. If you want to post interests ill leave this thread up for now and please liust your prefered date in case i get more ppl wanting to postpone to a later date. Atm im looking at the 23rd of November.
