This is an expression of interest at this stage, would like to know how many people are willing to get complete engines and for what prices providing the compression tests results are good. Turbos, loom, ecu.... Don't ask about the kms, Japan engines to me never have original kms, until it can be proven. cheers
Interested in '95 model or newer TT engine price... I cant put anything older in as my car is 1995. Compression has to be atleast 160-170 ALL CYLINDERS =)))) Price?
I would pay $1500 to $2000 for a half descent TT motor to start a project from. If someone were to buy a motor like this they would want to pull the whole thing down and start from scratch anyway. Providing that the engine has good compression this would be a great starting point for something a little more boosted than normal. Personally I would be more interested in a TT motor with no loom or turbos because I would be replacing both anyway. The ECU would not be needed either because I would be doing a custom ECU. Just a basic TT motor ready to be pulled down and reconditioned. Others may want a direct swap motor for their Zeds if they have killed their own motor. If this was the case then $1800 + is usually the norm and is a good price for a descent motor. Peace

as the dude said at the start of the thread it is an "expression of interest" to see how much people would wanna pay and and how many people would want one. I am assuming that he was thinking of doing some kind of bulk buy overseas and then selling here. It was an expression of interest only, he doesnt have motors to sell. Peace
if the motors hav good compression id be lookin at buying one for a project motor depending on the price you can get them at?
depending on price i would b in i only want a stuffed engine say a whole in the block or sumfin i need all the external parts and bolts and hose so i can get sizes and length
i would like to apologise for my late reply. i've been away and havent been on the forum at all. i am still waiting on the compression test results for my insurance if i were to get them down. would update to all asap
Would you be able to sell just the assembeld long block with nothing else as I have all the turbos plenums ect ect cheers
