Hi guys, just wondering if anyone else is interested in a pair of turbosmart Bovs? The two options I am looking at are from UAS:

    1)Type-2 Vee-Port BOV
    • Improved throttle response and eliminates goose-honk
    • Adjustable volume
    • Vent to atmosphere
    • Can install in stock location

Features a unique, variable exhaust port system, providing superior venting of excess pressure. Simple and effective. Ideal choice for drifting or circuit enthusiasts.

Pricing: rrp $299, Group Buy $225 each

    and

    2) Type 3 Plumb-Back Bov
    • Improved throttle response and eliminates goose-honk
    • Recirculate spent air back to inlet tract
    • Installs in stock location

The street-legal alternative. The Plumb Back systems vents all excess pressure back into the intake system.
Great for enthusiast not wanting to be noticed and perfectly legal!
Available in a range of outlet diameters.

Price: RRP $359, Group Buy Price $270 each

I would need a minimum of three buyers per valve to get the pricing above, and if we get to a total of six buyers I can knock another $20/valve off the pricing. Please indicate your interest below, and please note this EOI is for the products and prices above ONLY so please keep on track. I'm not interested in other brands etc.

    Thanks!

I want a pair of the plumb backs. If we get the numbers how quickly can it go ahead?

Isn't goose honk the air comming back out of the pod?

If so how will the plumb back bov eliminate it?

Goose honk is caused by the springs in the factory valves that have weakend over time, combined with increased boost causing the valve to flutter. Fitting a pod just allows the sound to be heard.

When you say 3 buyers of each type, does that mean 3 valves, or 3 sets of 2?

Can I have just 1? After a plumb back please

Very quickly -the BOVs are already in AUS so there's no o/s shipping or anything like that to wait for. I want plumbacks too so with Chrispy that's five in total, as soon as I have six ready to pay we can go ahead with it.

Three sets of two, so minimum six BOVs to go ahead.

No probs with ordering one for you though, one more buyer and we'll be able to go ahead with these...

    I'm using

The sleeper series plumb backs, thoroughly recommend them.

RedZedMikey RZM should now be DZM

Seeing as my engine bay is/will be co-ordinated in orange, black, and polished/chromed metal, I'd like to consider a set of sleeper series plumb-backs.

How does this choice affect the minimum 6 buy position? Does this get us over the line, or do I have to wait for another 4 of these to sell? Also, I'm not sure which diameter to nominate. Is there a Zed specific diameter or does it depend on your own specific installation?

This would put us over the line, two each for you, myself, and wykked, and one for Chrispy so seven in total more than enough to go ahead with the plumb-backs.

Not sure re: diameter, coming from UAS so they will make sure we get the Zed-appropriate sizing but I will confirm what this is.
