VIC EOI: The Geelong and District Crew

We should organize a monthly "Dinner Cruise" for one day in one weekend of the month (an example would be "the last Sunday" or some such crap)

This could be a cruise to a different eatery or restaurant every month.

What do ya think?

Used to do this years ago with another group. The reataurant was allocated to one person to pick each month and it was a surprise destination we found some great off the map places and food. Good Idea (Panic envelope to those who got lost from group helped on occasion)

 

I would be happy to offer a special for the forum at my restaurant. A couple of members have been there and im sure can vouch for the food.
We could have a competition or raffle of some sort, the winner getting a free dinner....

There are enough of us to do it and its especially great that one of us actually HAS a restaurant.

Any more suggestions on which Sunday it should be on, when we should start the first one etc etc?

 

Cool idea - it gives me reason to fast track the completion stages of the zeddy's rebuild... provided there won't be gravel roads to drive down [can't bear the thought of stone chips and scratches on the fresh paintwork, I know several people who would not be happy with me ]; my zeddy and I will make it - otherwise it'll be Bryans.

At the moment we should go with:

Sunday 30th May.
Meeting at whatever eatery (probably URHYNS's resturant first, depending on where it is etc) at 5:30? 6:00?
Or should it be a day cruise for Lunch?

What does everyone think of that?
Can people make it?

If so lets list it up and see what attendance we will have. Please add to the list so we can see the numbers and if URHYNS can accommodate us. Hopefully MEGZED will be able to bring my 4 seater too by then

URHYNS place is a strip club. Yippy i'm in. Or if not maybe it can be organised .Oh and it has beer . Yippy i'm in twice. Oh dam i just thought if i'm drinking i will have to bring the minister of war so probably not a good idea to have strippers. Dam

If its a Sunday it will have to be lunch for me as by the time it finishes and get home I wont get my forty winks hehe (early start) But the strip club sounds great eye candy for desert

But having said that... if its a busy sunday, i COULD organise our belly dancer that usually comes in on fridays and saturdays...

 

And here I was thinking we had someone "big pimpin" in the group . . lol.
I was a bouncer for a strip club for a while, best job I ever had.

What kinda food?
Open times?

Once we know all of that we can organize this first one and go from there.

Its in Eltham, so a very nice cruise there, and Kinglake is around the corner for a cruise after for who ever is interested.

We serve Lebanese banquets. A whole array of top quality lamb, chicken and veg dishes too. Massive Banquet, and is pretty much all you can eat.... I'll look after you guys with the price which is usually $42 per head, and if we can get a decent amount of people (10+), ill throw in a slab of beer or a couple of bottles of wine as well.

We're open every night except Monday.

OK so far we have this

When: Sunday the 30th May

Location: Maroush Lebanese Restaurant, 1092 Main Rd Eltham VIC 3095.

Time: 5:30pm meet at Maroush. (Geelong and district crew can meet at the "Zed Shed" to cruise up together. Will organise a time for this. Probably meet at the shed at 4pm?)

Attendance:

Samuraigecko - Scott and Kristy
mr zed x - Rod and Mina.


Please add your name to the list if you are coming so we can see what seating Elie has to arrange.

If there are meat platters like Suvloaki Hut, im gonna be STOKED . . . . LOL
