Warranty?? Will imported boxes have a warranty?

I'm not convinced that a rebuilt box from a reputable gearbox specialist isn't the best way to go. They do have a warranty and will work quite a bit cheaper than a new box. Might even get a really good price if a quote for multiple rebuilds were sought.

I've never had a problem with them. How many people have had a bad experience with rebuilt boxes?

 

I've never had a Z32 gearbox rebuilt, just bought a replacement 2nd hand. I was quoted $2700-$3000 for a full rebuild, so if I was up for another box (which I'm not), I would be going for the new '98 unit with its stronger internals.

but I have had experience with 4 gearbox places from gold coast to gin gin, all of whom screwed me around with sh!t service and sh!t quality. Any warranty they give you is crap anyway because they will tell you you've probably abused the box and thats why it's broken. And nethier party has a leg to stand on.

As for warranty on new box's I can find out, however for a box that is so strong to begin with I don't think it's an issue, but thats me.

Well lets get solid numbers before I call simon again. From memory he told me on the phone about $3200 to your door for NA manual.

2. Beaver ? ?
3. Tektrader ? ?

Warranty I don't think there is one but he assures me he would chase up any issues post sale.

Im very interested also, but $3200 is way too much for me. $1880USD/$2050AUD plus shipping and taxes, if we have a GB price from Coz this could make the overall price more tempting. Maybe have separate shipments to each state?
