Alright, i'll do this properly. Thursday afternoon, 13th November. Start: 6:30pm, somewhere around "THE GAP" area (will find suitable place) Drive up the mountain to the 2nd lookout, cant remember what its called but its the bigger one, take some pictures, talk. etc etc. 7pm-7:30, drive to herston to the victoria park golf club. As long as we start the putt putt minigolf before 8, anythings fine, they serve alchohol, and for $25 you can get a round of minigolf and a margarita pizza click here to see their website. Place closes at 10pm. so gives us plenty of time to stuff around with minigolf and drink =D Just eoi at the moment, times or date can be adjusted
Oh yeah, why not... The lookout is Jolly's Lookout at Nebo. You can see my house from there I have a feeling that golf will have me swearing a awful lot and throwing golf sticks at people

You know what, guess where im gonna be when this cruise happens? Im gonna be at this f*cking cruise. Unless when im on the way to the cruise my tyre flies off and my car flips into a ravigne, and as im flipping into the ravigne ill be saying out aloud "Im not gonna make it to this cruise, people are expecting to see me!" Instead of mt Nebo lets switch it to Mt Cootha!!!!!! = Awesome views and photo moments. Then we can proceed to either A) putt putt at kelvin grove or alternatively a wicked driving range in Oxley. Realistically im just throwing this idea out there cause its closer to home for me lol
hahaha. mt cootha has a good view of the city, but imo the drive is short and shit... nebo rd is nice and smooth, hopefully there wont be any traffic either, the view from jolly's lookout is pretty awesome too. anybody else prefer mt.whatever instead of nebo?
mt cootha is crap.... its got some good views of the city an everything else surrounding it, but the road is way too short. its supposed to be a cruise/what ever your callin it. mt nebo is perfect. great windy roads up to top of Jollys look out.(only bad thing it gets kinda cold up their at night) i surgest people bring some warm clothes. im in, ill try get some others who hopefully can make it, being midweek and all most ppl are busy. Make it a Sat night and do Coot-tha, it's closer to Kelvin Grove, only a 5min drive. Less time driving means more time for pizza, beer and ball whacking! No worries if I get a little pissed either. I can leave my car at work and walk home haha! :thumbup:
here's the thing.. Seems that most people are busy on weekends up till christmas, which is why i chose to do it on a thursday afternoon, also they do a good deal on miniputt and pizza thursdays =D Being a weekday, will be starting around 6-630, and leaving the golf joint around closing time (10pm). BUT its still EOI, so hey, if you'd rather do it on saturday the 15th nov, lets see a show of hands what im basically looking for is a day that will suit most people. which ever has the most "im in" replies wins. also, state weather you'd rather mt.awesome (nebo) or mt.whatever (cootha) jono - good for either date - nebo.
Im Keen for 13th Nov 15th = end of uni celebrations :vomit:..... so whilst id prefer a weekend thur 13th actually suits better..... it can start my very big weekend At this stage still I'm still a maybe tho... gotta try convince a mate to come along... dont reli care where we go... sounds like we're still gonna end up at the same mini golf place near home
I'm in for Nebo or Cootha (doesnt really bother me) Nebo would be nicer because Cootha has been done so many times. I can make it on the 13th, will most likely not be in my car though. Got a work Christmas party on the 15th so I'll be in no state to drive!
I'm not fussed whatever, but would prefer Nebo as I know the road backwards and it's a million times more fun than Cootha (and you can see my house! I love that! ) But yeah, whatever
