Good on you for taking some initiative and giving this a try. Last time we went on a Huskisson cruise it definitely took a bit longer than 4 hrs.
Trying to average 80+kph on a weekend(through areas that are now designated for Mobile Speed Cameras)is a bit ambitious. Add to that the fact that Wokky is the Highway Patrols Public Enemy No1 on the Macquarie Pass road, and I am responsible for the total destruction of all wildlife in Kangaroo Valley(except for a few dope smoking Hippies).
I am going to be a possible starter at this point in time.:zlove:

Ok guys I did this trip today to check out all the roads and overall it was great apart from the front starting to aqua-plane at 50km/h in the torential rain up Mt. Ousley.

Overall it is around and extra 30km going up Mcquarie Pass and comming down through Kangaroo Valley, though it is an extra 1.5 hours of driving to go up through there and back down,
so im thinking of keeping it straight down the freeway and Princess highway to Huskisson.
This gives us more time to relax at Husky and enjoy each others company, hopefully the shorter route will bring some more zedders out for the day.:)

    Regards Matt

Meet point will still be at the Loftus Oval carpark just on Princess Highway before the entry to the Royal National Park.
Straight down the highway gives us more time to enjoy the day at Huskisson. No cross country scenic detours.

9.30am for a 10am depature should give people plenty of time to get there hopefully we get a few more that can make it.

    Matt.

Of course Stef,;) today I spoke to who I believe was the manager of Husky pub...she told me parking would be no problem at all around the back and they have quite a good menu in their bistro.

    hmmm... steak or fish????
