Yep, I'm in! Both clear lenses and Y2K inserts. Agree with Pilot.p's suggestion for vacuum metallising process. If not possible I'll look at having them coated myself also. Cheers, Wal
Lenses made it to the manufacturer today...are being lasar drawn for the new molds now...should not be too long.

I talked to Andy on the phone a few nights ago. I've got a nice set of 99 Spec chromed inserts I just bought this week and will send to Andy as soon as I get them. The more role models to choose from the better. Here's a query that perhaps some here may know. Andy and I were talking about possible differences in the actual size of the high beam reflector between the 90-96 USDM and the J Spec / AU Spec etc. Andy was telling me that there may be an actual difference. Has anyone got any data on this? Here's a good question for Adam - Are the dimensions for the (low beam) round projector and the sides of the (high beam) reflector the same size for all of the J Spec Z32's, 89 - 00?
Na mate. I just have a bad rep over on tt.net with a few. They're the staunch AMS haters and hate me even for advocating AMS products in the past. What's really very amusing is when they get on their high horse about AMS manifolds, I get so tempted to tell them that I don't have AMS manifolds. That in fact I have MSP manifolds that were installed by Vuk which were purchased through Z1. Talk about a collage of a different color. Tainted by the AMS stick??? Well maybe just a little.
I have a disassembled '90 J-spec headlight at home I can take some measurements of for you. Busy couple of days coming up so it may be early next week. Are the '99 spec inserts you have sent to Andy OEM original or someone elses copy? I wonder about how accurate measurements and fit can be when talking about copies of copies ....
Same thing I am pondering. For the insert to work it really has to be absolutley perfect. John is going to contact me pretty soon. If I can't get something perfect...it won't be offered. As far a accurate...they will be laser scanned in a cad machine then the molds will be cnc'ed and injected molded...can't get more accurate than that. If it isn't a perfect repro , I'm out and I know you guys would be too.
