Hi all, I've been talking with an Autometer supplier in the US and the prices seem very good, just wondering if anyone out there is after some. Basically, he will do 5% off Jobber prices for orders of 5 or less items and 10% off Jobber prices on orders over 5. BTW, Jobber prices are the prices listed by autometer I've been told. Someone else wants to clarify that they can. Check here: www.autometer.com to see the choices, the prices seem good and shipping should be OK if we have a few people in each state keen. I'm just waiting on some example prices, but wanted to see if anyone was keen in anything from the autometer range. As soon as I get the example prices I'll put it up, if anyone wants to know the price of something, post up the item number here and i'll find out. Cheers, Vaughan BTW - This is in the GB section as I'm not making any money or getting any benefits from this, apart from the same % off as everyone else if we get enough buyers. This is purely to offer good prices to other members.
Are all of auto meter's pillar mounts left hand side? checked just then...found one i liked until i realised its for left hand side... http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/....html?osCsid=130a260b9b3839d5bca7e05c8ade49de
uk zed centre sell them and caz was getting some made, fleet sells the ones that clip on,i have one and they fit great and look good
Still waiting on prices. Guy is in Vancouver so I always get confused about what time it is there. Most of them are in imperial units (F, MPH etc.) but they have a few in "Aussie' (KPH, C etc.). On their website I think they list them under metric. I'm fairly sure all their pods are for LHD unfortunately. Obviously cup pods and all would work fine.
If you're interested in gauges then I think the speedut ones that ascension posted up about would be a better option. Pretty much everything is optional from metric/imperial to backlighting etc.... They also seem to be of a higher quality with a lifetime warranty. http://www.speedhut.com/ These are definately what I will be using
im after these mate, but in cel not faran... thanks mate http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?gid=2574&sid=4 http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?gid=2576&sid=4 http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?gid=2571&sid=4 http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?gid=3281&sid=4 http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?gid=2573&sid=4
Example prices: (These prices are in USD, so will be a 'little' higher, use www.xe.com if you want to work it out exactly) Boost / Vacuum (4703): $64.87 Oil Temperature (4748): $55.56 Oil Pressure (4727): $71.12 Oil Pressure (4327-m): $63.14 Boost / Vacuum (4303-M): $56.22 I'll ask about those cobalt ones Ed. Though expect prices to be similar, with mechanical being a little cheaper than electrical.
Hey mate, can you please get GB prices on the following Sport Compact II gauges: Water Temperature Product #3655 Oil Pressure Product #3653 Pyrometer Product #3644 Boost / Vacuum Product #3659 Fuel Pressure Product #3663 Voltmeter Product #3692 And prices on the following senders: Short Sweep Electric Temp. Gauge Sender (250, 300, and 340 deg.) Product #2258 Short Sweep Electric Temperature Sender Product #2259 Also, what time will this GB finish? Cos I don't want to wait too long...
oh really? awesome, where does it show me the temp? and cheers for finding out those prices for me champ ill be after electrical ones i want the cobalt line because i have a boost gauge that is that colbalt design, and now the saw kit has the same line of gauge..so it will all match, you should look into those too mate
I'll post up when I find out. As for how long, well I imagine we can get 5-10 items at a time, so once I get a few yes's on price then we can go from there. I'd say you could expect items by mid to end of Feb if we get the numbers soon.
if you want to do it in 5-10 at a time, and i'm prepared to order 5-10, then does that mean i don't have to wait for others to get ready? my schedule on gauges is that i'd probably like to pay by the end of the week and receive them before the end of the following week - does that sound possible? i'm interested in 6 gauges and 3 temp senders but i want GB prices, so negotiate them into a corner shop around with different suppliers - find them on US ebay -> www.ebay.com
I'm sure we can set you up as your own GB I found this guy on eBay and he has an online site too. http://www.blueovalperformance.net/ His prices were the best on eBay for autometer that I could find. He said his site does need an update though, so prices on there may be different to what we get here, and alot of items aren't on there. Though as for receiving it within two weeks, well that depends on US postal I guess. Sometimes they are good...sometimes, well... hehe I'll keep you updated.
that website lists lots of autometer gauges, but not the sport compact 2 gauges a bit strange you might have to mention that to him
He can get the whole range. Just his website isn't complete he told me. Just like the Aussie autometer sellers can get any of the range but only list the popular models on their sites.
I'll have a few to get Matt's order up in the numbers. 2 of these 5944-M 1 of these 5963 1 of these 5959 And 2 of these: 2204
