hey guys just collecting som eWOI in a GB for some AMS radiators.
it's coming in to summer now and with the Australian dollar on the up we have a great opportunity to get some quality rads at a great price.
    current target is 5.
but the more we get the cheaper they will become.

atm the unit price is US$325 RRP from AMS
with the AUD$ Currently sitting on a tentative $0.90
the unit price would be approx
    aud $357.50 RRP
    plus shipping

that is the regular price NOT the GB price.

if we get more numbers we get more discounts.
i'll post the GB prices for 5 and for 10 as soon as i get them back

Put me down for one.Going by AMS info, the stock brackets will not fit radiator,AMS supplies brackets for $25,should these brackets be added to GB?

Would these be overkill for a street-only zed? If it's a worthwhile upgrade then I will buy one.

I'm not very mechanically minded so it doesn't mean much to me
I'm looking for mods that will A) Increase the reliability and efficiency of my car and B) Not add too much weight or hinder performance.
I figure that bigger radiator = superior cooling = good for driving to work in peak hour traffic on 35 degree days? :p

Go back through some of ZX2NV's threads. He tested a few different radiators, quite a good read.

    Your assumptions are correct :)

Compared to the stock OEM rad the AMS Racing Radiator holds almost 4 litres of coolant compared to under 1 litre for stock! More coolant coupled with all aluminum construction vs. plastic end tanks for OEM will translate into better cooling from a stock Z to 700 hp+ monsters.

They bolt up with almost no effort.

If you need any further info PM or email us at you leisure.

    Regards,

    Vuk@AMS

Some have requested some pics of the AMS units and comparisons with the Koyos.

The descriptions can be viewed on-line:

Here are some side by side shots with the Koyos. Our units are 57mm vs the thinner 2 core Koyos:

AMS unit on the right. Note thicker core and improved sturdier neck/cap construction. Also overflow nipple is a sturdier construction:

Aluminum Fill plug vs Plastic Koyo:

In terms of fitment it is very straight forward and little fuss! The upper rad hose will need to be shortened just over an inch and the plastic shroud will just have to be trimmed slightly. This allows for the upper rad hose and clamp to gain more clearance on the radiator inlet tube.

The AMS Radiator brackets are a nice finishing touch:
