this may be a little different .

i think you should take your engine apart first and see how it looks inside ,
you may need to hone and bore it out first, ( in case of any damage )

you are buying something for an engine by assuming your engine ( bottom end ) is 100% it may be , but no always the case .

as far as price goes seems OK to me
    just a heads up

The bore and hone has to match the piston of choice I thought... Sure the block has to be able to take the hone, but I have 2 to choose from lol

looks like a good rebuild kit to me. the pistons and rings are 1mm oversize which is max oversize. Some people recommend not going that much over unless you need to but it pretty much means that these pistons will suit any block, even if it has got bore damage.

crank and rod bearings are STD, 9 out of 10 engines i do i use std bearings, the cranks wear well on these adn the crank is factory hardened so you dont really want to grind it anyway

A block can be bored to say 0.7 or 0.8mm to be able to see if will take 1mm piston before purchase.

Sorry, was not real clear there. What I mean is a few light passes with the boring bar will tell if any damage will be taken out with a 1mm bore, for example if it has badly picked up a piston or broken a skirt.

Ah i see what you mean, good point. I thought you meant wall thickness

No I havent had any issues with wall thickness as yet. Some have reported it, but I have not seen any evidence to back it up.
