    Hi all,
quick question, what is 89 NA engine oil capacity. just doing a change now (with new filter) and need to know asap. the tech articule says 4 3/8 which if they referring to quarts is only 4.1 litres and this doesnt sound right.

and dont flame me for not searching because ive spent the last 30 minutes searching through other peoples crap about WHAT oil to use, just not how much. and believe me, theres about 500 threads on that...

    thanks :)

    Foolproof method.......

Put in a bit less than 3.5ltrs and run the car for about a minute. Turn the motor off and fill by the dipstick.

This method will work with any zed and provide the exact amount required every time :zlove:

p.s 3/4 fill your oil filter from the 3.5 ltrs before installing. It will bring up your oil pressure faster.

I ALWAY fill an engine up to the right level using the dipstick. Have a quick look how much came out and pour in a bit less. Some people just use the workshop manual like it is gospel and end up with far too much.
