emission tests

    how many people have need to get an emission test done for compliance? car has been registered previously interstate. the guy that did my engineers cert said he wasn't sure because the twin turbo motor was never brought into australia by nissan? anyone have any experience with this? cheers

    my advice....FIND A NEW ENGINEER!!!!!!!
    If he doesnt know basic stuff like that, alarm bells should start ringing!


    If the car was a factory turbo with a factory tuned ECU (not chipped) there should be no reasion for it to get tested.


    (advoid getting tested for emission like the plauge)

    too late the engineers certs is pretty much been sent to the rta he said it could be all fine, but they could reject it and say it needs an emissions tests.

    An emissions test is not a concern unless components of the emissions system have been removed.

    Haha yeah its been removed but the engineer/rta don't know that

    If you need to do an emission test (IM240) give me a PM I let you know what you need to do to get a pass.
