I have been trying to fix the problem myself and have hit a dead end,

My left taillight parkers dont work and the right tail light parkers do,

Brakes lights work on both taillights aswell as that little light thing on the spoiler!

First thing i did was replace ALL of the globes, still not working.

Any way what i found was that the actuall connectors, like where the cords from the taillight connect the main plug, (one of those plastic plugs), i tested all of the metal teeth in the plug and was pumping out 15 Volts, so i switched the light plug with the globes on it from the right taillight and still not working.
    So both are working.

So i dont undersstand why there is power coming into the plug and inst going out of the plug when connected.

    Any ideas?

Yes the power might be getting to the plug but unless it

has an earth then the circuit is not complete and hence there will be no light at the end of the tunnel!

So check to see if the earth wire is connected to the chassis or get a piece of connecting wire and attach it to the chassis somehere and then with the other end place it on the earth side of the lights . If they come on then you have an earth fault!

If there is a large arc and you set your car on fire :) then you know you short circuited the system and probably blew the fuse!!

all the best and good on you for having a go

    regards John
