So I've just bought this EL glow panel, and not being very handy, have no idea how to install it.
I've tried search, but couldn't find anything.
Anybody know what to do? Even a link to a guide would be great.
    Thanks in advance

    open your boot
middle panel at the back has 2 hand screws, undo them
10mm nuts (2 or 4 i cant remember) holding the panel in
remove the bulbs attached to the panel (twist them)
    replace with new panel.

If you need to instal the EL panel inside your rear centre panel, it is a bit more complicated than that.

It is in the Technical Section in the A-Z group under Illuminated Rear Panel.

Thanks mate, I may just be completely stupid, as even searching for "Illuminated rear panel" turned up nothing on how to install it.
    Will keep trying though

    Beautiful, thanks so much!
I'd give you the thanks button, but have heard it's being abused and not sure if that would count.
    Thanks again though mate. :D

Uh... mate, its a pretty finicky job. One wrong bit of applied pressure and you'll have a lovely crack to remember the occasion... I'd rather drop my gearbox then go through that again lol. If you decide its too much of a shitty job, PM pyscodelik on the forum, top bloke, offers to install it into a center panel for I think from memory $40 + shipping, then when you get it back, just put the center panel back in, no need to fiddle around with the thing to pry it open then worry about wiring.

Yes, it is a bit nerve wracking. My conversion was going perfectly up until I decided to add some extra black paint to the inside of the panel as it was pretty thin.

Incompatible paint types saw it all bubble up like Alka Seltzer, leading to a very, very long complete strip and repaint. The final result was just OK, so I now have another panel and I'll have another go. Later - much later.

Hehe uh oh. Perhaps I'll try a local body shop. Didn't look very difficult until the instructions got read :)
