    Hey everyone,

I've just purchased my 1992 twin turbo 2 seater. But I've never seen this on my NA but where most of the ecu talks plug into the (OBDI) plug I already have another plug going into it, I plugged my mates ecu talk just after I bought the car so I can check error codes and see what temp it was idling at... Thankfully those tests came back fine, although I'm still stumped at what this plug is. I was planning to buy an ecu talk but I don't want to unplug the OBDI cable either... I thought it was just a cover at first but then I saw that it has wires coming out of it.

Does anyone know what it is?

    Thanks in advance.

Follow the wires & see where it goes, it's probably a diagnostic cable.

Sounds like a diagnostic monitor or diagnostic cable as theres not much else to put in there for all intensive purposes.
Do you have a small ecu talk monitor screen in the dash somewhere or ausb cab;le hanging out (to plug into a laptop)??

No I don't, I thought it was one of the diagnostics you can buy from eBay for like 20 bucks that plug in and has a USB stick underneath. But I traced the wire as far as it could go and I ended up losing it in the dash wiring.

Ill try again next weekend, cause I was planning to put an ecu talk in the car but I don't wan to unplug this if its something important.
