I have a 1989 300zx Z32 manual TT that recently got tuned and injectors replaced

    Have gone from this ecu:

Based off my research so far the '23' ecu is an auto TT 1992 year and the '22' I had was a manual TT 1990 year.

Issue I'm having is that the '23' ecu with nistune does not light the CEL when the car is turned on (before starting). Switching back to the '22' ecu will once again light the CEL.

Using the conzult, there is no error codes on either ecu, including the supposed auto trans code I should be getting due to using an auto TT ecu??

Who has an idea of why this is happening? Obviously not a major issue but having no CEL light ever will give me absolutely no warning if there just so happens to be an issue...

    BigCol That's what she said...

There should be a potentiometer on the ecu that turns it from normal operation mode to diagnostic mode. On the ecu that isn't showing the CEL turn the knob fully the opposite way.

ECU #23710-41P03 was fitted to TT's fitted with manual transmissions, built from Nov 1989 up to Aug 1990.
You'd need the number off the Nistuned ECU to see what it was originally fitted to.
The numbers in the photo appear to have been removed (23710-4???).
When you connect it to ConZult it should show the number.
