Currently looking into parts to get this moving forward. I have the ecu sorted by the looks of it going with the Nistune flexfuel offering just released.

What fuel pump and flex sensors do people recommend?? 300-350Kw is all I will be looking for.

    Cheers

I have an ethanol sensor for you with dash 6 fittings welded on

just have to buy a harness ($30 I think)

get the walbro 400l (part number ending 267)

    Yeah I'm echoeing here

Walbro 400 e85 safe will work great-

You MAY want to look at a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.
Nistune is a good choice heard good things I'm gonna hunt this down next year myself.

    Btw
    The injectors you asked for
    660cc etc?
On e85 if your aiming 300-350rwkw your gonna be pushing those a fair bit- Mayr look at 740-750-850 if you don't want to go for 1000ccID top feeds and bde rail

Why do you want to run e85 if you're only targeting 300-350rwkw?

People said the same thing to me about stock turbos? Worked out pretty well I say.

It is awesome stuff. Tuning window is much wider

Sure, but if you're not chasing big power, you can get similar results and benefits on Premium 100, with a lot less cost and complication, and with much better availability.

Go with the E85 Walbro as mentioned, and then add another Walbro when you go for more power.
Everything else on the market, is a hassle and more expensive compared to Walbro's no mess straight drop-in. Cheaper, quieter and 20 year zed proven

You won't get anywhere near e85 with 100ron lol not even close.

Train of thought recently was to upgrade turbos on the stock motor to keep me happy whilst I build something on the side over the next couple of years.... think I might scrap this and see what e85 can do instead as it appears it will take stress off things and doesnt need to be run of a knifes edge to make power.

I am thinking E85 the car to get me to around 300RWKW+ (fingers crossed)...not sure what to really expect in terms of gains.... toshi is sorting out the ECU side of things for me after speaking with him today. I just need to get the flex sensor for him and arrange injectors + rail. All lines were replace recently in the engine bay with 100k service.

It seems like a budget friendly upgrade now i dont need to get a ecu that will help me put more $$ into the new engine and keep a smile on the dial.

Could i get away with the stock pump? Out of interest if i kept the power to 300kw?

Oh and it's not 100ron, if you do the sums from memory it's actually closer to 103

Stock pump will be too small for 300rwkw on E85.
Walbro 400lph max out at around 380rwkw on E85.
From memory stock z32 pumps flow around 300lph which means you'll be maxed out at around 290rwkw on E85.
The walbro 400lph is cheap, don't waste your time with a stock pump if you're chasing those numbers.

With e85 you need to factor in 30-40% more fuel, so might well push it's limits.

If you're going to go e85 though you're better off to do it properly; pump, fpr, big injectors (1000cc), flex components, replace all rubber hoses to be safe, etc.

Errrr not really. Ive personally seen three cars with single walbro 485s do 450rwkw and over 133mph trap. Z32 TT runs a stock tt pump with e85 and nitrous on top so well over 300rwkw

I was following a build thread where they maxed the walbro 400lph at 378rwkw so I'm basing my calculations on that.
