Hey guys, well i decided to get my car on the dyno at a dyno day few weeks ago to see what she has before the mods start, so here's the result it's a stock auto tt with only a cheap pod and S2 ptu as mods the rest is all original and stock, feedback welcome

Thats a 5500 RPM pull in 2nd on an automatic TT with stock diff. :p

How much did he steel of you for a *cough* base line run.

EDIT: I see dyno day, maybe he was scared of breaking it. :p

Given that probably not too bad.

lol it was a hot as hell day in the afternoon and mine was one of the last to go on, then they didn't tie it down first run almost jumped off once tied down the pull was in 3rd i kept the O/D button off made sure power was flicked on and watched to make sure he was in the right gear, but he didn't push it after it almost jumped off the first time.

    LOL no straps !, and a 3500 RPM pull in 3rd !

He was over it ! :p

Mate all good fun but IMHO he wasted your petrol. 214HP at 3500 RPM on a stock TT again IMHO BS.

yeah to be honest mate it was just for bit of fun and to get some kind of guesstimate on my stock figures before i mod it, what kind of numbers does a completely stock auto tt usually see atrw?

I don't think lots more then that seeing as a stock auto tt only puts out 280bhp at the fly so given the loss in drivetrain to the wheels shouldnt be to far off.

Could search back and see what others have said before, confussion is that they were under quoted in Japan for commercial reasons, so USA info is probably best, using 3550lb and 14 odd second quarter calclaters come up with 300 fwhp to about 250 rwhp. (Then whats a US hp equal :p)

Thats the 2 seater (lighter) and reported times vary, and calculaters etc etc etc.

Heres some data if you want to play: http://www.zparts.com/showcase/zcarstats/pages/perfz32.htm

yeah around what i thought mine is the 2+2 auto tt and it states they are putting down around 280bhp stock not at the wheels, it's not too far off the mark given the conditions

    213 RWHP = 158 RWKW

A typical good condition stock Manual TT gets about 180 RWKW (240 RWHP)

Mine made between 280-300 RWHP (210-230 RWKW) on 14-16 PSI with some supporting mods.

Yours seems a little underpowered, even considering its an Auto...

Power is about right considering it would have only been pulling 5000ish rpm, I doubt it would have went into 3rd gear at that load and speed. Another 2000rpm would have seen 50hp, so it's pretty well on track.

    Thats what I initialy thought.

On stock tyers 115 km/h is 5320 RPM in auto TT 2nd, prob a bit more without lockup.
