i'm in the process of designing a 2 seater dune buggy and was interested if anyone has built one or have any designs they are willing to share...

nice.. daves got a custom one that we used to take out... 160km over the dunes... f*ck that thing flys.... his is a converted bug like usual but im going a different way.
Theres a place down the road from where I work (Truganina Rd, Malaga) that makes buggies. Id love a s/c v8 in one - seen the vids from the US where they pull wheel stands! Oh... and the Pussycat Dolls film clip!!!
I was gonna use a 250cc engine but mates got a good turbo v6 and gearbox i can have out of his common whore for $450 which would be nice haha... im halfway through my own designs right now but still wouldnt mind looking at other designs
how safe are these things im not certain but daves one looks like it would crumple if it hit anything solid,but i suppose your fairly safe out in the dunes anyways
its just fibreglass but it has a full metal roll cage so its not that bad.... as soon as ive built mine ill take ya for a spin man.... so much friggen fun man.. worth every penny... and we can build you one if you like hahaha, just bring me a old bug licenced or not... and we'll go from there mate! hahahaha
