Dump pipe/steering column problem

    Yeah the rack *should* move 2 bits of bugger all or less. Else you wil have sloppy steering. I cant move it at all by had putting all my wieight into it.

    I was thinking more of the engine and gearbox shifting a bit on their mounts and having the steering jam as I hit a bump half way through a corner

    I think you should be more worried about the movement under torque loads.

    I hope the steering shaft didn't get bent, it was the dump pipe modded right?

    Similar mod has been shown on Non Turbo extractors because they were designed to fit LHD.
    Looks like your pipes were LHD.

    Why doesn't somebody show these US shops that a different curve higher up the pipe would make their product unisex
