    hey guys.
my name is eddie and im very new to the z, and have one that to me is a diamond in the rough so im slowly rebuilding it.

so im in the process of rebuilding my gearbox and my driveshaft is not in the best conditions! guess 20+ years of driving would do that.

my question is: what is the opinion would it be best to have it serviced or to replace it with a new one piece unit???

The best thing to do is to replace it with a single piece driveshaft. This will eliminate the center support bearing and also give you the option to service the U-joints. The factory driveshaft's U-joints are not replacable and the a new Nissan unit is more than double the price of an aftermarket one. Most of our driveshafts range from about $250 to $350 depending on the model that you need.

You can't go wrong with one of the Z1 driveshafts.
