    Drift

Is all in the suspension setup :) and technique.

    Practice and practice some more.

And get some good adjustable suspension and a mechanical LSD.

You don't even need a mechanical LSD.

Firstly, I'd recommend locking the HICAS, having the a$$ end wagging about confuses the hell outta the HICAS and you find yourself having to correct when you didn't think you'd need to as the HICAS doesn't quite know whats going on.

Suspension - firm it up. Adding rear neg camber (which is the easiest way to make it taily) will make it easier to get the a$$ out but will make it alot harder to control at higher speeds - it becomes alot more unpredictable.

Personally - I wouldn't advise using the handbrake unless you've strengthened it - the zed is a big fat heavy car and it doesn't take long for parts to bend/stretch/break!

Practice - start slow and work your way up - its all too easy to get it wrong by going too hard and binning a car.

Finally, make sure you go and drift legally - the last thing you want is to get done for careless, reckless, excessive noise etc not to mention giving zeds a bad name (I don't want to be classed the same as a Silvia :p)

    Have fun :)

    Dirft bible...

    ...details "old school" drift techniques.

The ones used now are evolved from those. Have had the opportunity to ride shotgun with some of these "maniacs" and their ability to keep the slide through 10s of bends and curves (no straights) is uncanny!

There is a guy over here that takes his out to drift meets - will see what I can find out. Although as with all suspension setups, it is a lot to do with the driver.

Have a DVD but in Japanese of some other techniques...
Can probably get a rip but no subs in English...will see what I can do.

You wouldn't happen to have a rip of Option V121?

Would ya Jason? its the volume where D1 went to Irwindale for the first D1 round outside Japan.

    I can't find it anywhere :(

Have it on DVD as well

...not all that interesting in my opinion.

Again, will see what I can arrange.
